Anyone running 19 inch 35 profile tires on stock suspension?

I'm trying to see if I can shove a set of 265/35/19 on the front and 285/35/19 on the rear. A big reason for me to attempt this is to maintain the zero scrub radius - the tire sets will be able to maintain the same radius despite the changes. I've read a lot of people saying that the 35 profile tires do not fit, or they rub, etc., but at the same time they're either lowered, cambered to hell, or on ZCP suspension. There are some who say they were able to put 35 profiles in just fine, no rub, no problems, but unfortunately are few and far in between. Would like to ask those who are on that type of setup (if they exist) to sound off and confirm if they're on stock suspension/camber and other specs. Thanks.

Right now in the front I have Forgestar F14 SDCs, 19x10ET20 with 265/35ZR19 Pilot Sport 4S installed. No spacer, I went with the 265/35 against a lot of people's advice because I wanted a meatier tire to match the rear.

Sad to say it rubs like nuts. It ate through my front fender liners and now it's rubbing against some panel behind that. Would not advise the 265/35 now that I've had to learn the hard way, haha. I'm on stock ZCP suspension by the way.

Yeah see, I know the ZCP suspension rubbed like madness with 265/35. I'm however on stock EDCs, so it's a bit higher. I'll probably rub on full lock...but I dunno, I really want to try it because it's phat. I love phat sidewalls. At the same time I don't want to drop to 18's...

It's not the width that's the problem but the two-sizes-larger in diameter than stock that creates the fenderwell rub issues. A better choice would be to run 275/30-19 and 295/30-19.

Like the other guy said, it's definitely an issue of the overall diameter of the tire, not how high the car rides; it rubs at the widest part of the wheel well for me, regardless of what position of the suspension's travel. Mind you it rubs both at one steering position while cornering slightly, and then rubs BAD at full lock.

My plan is to do 275/30 square on my 19x10s, that should solve the issue. I must admit though, the meaty sidewall of 265/35 looks fantastic. I just don't know how the rubbing can be stopped is the issue.

You will rub on inner fender liner. My fender lines are trashed. In fact wore thru the plastic and went to the metal. Also put a hole in the window washer fluid tank . 265/30/19 works (that's what I switched to)

Thanks for the suggestions all. I also plan to do 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 if the 35 profile doesn't work. The overall diameter with the new size is smaller than stock by just 3mm. I think I can live with 3mm less sidewall but 30mm wider tires

Will see about trying 265/35 though...if my tire shop lets me.

255 up front? That wasn't the question.

He will almost certainly rub on 265/35 unless he finds one that is close to 245 circumference/dimensions.

See, this is why I'm asking what should have been obvious...there seems to be people reporting that they never rubbed or only rubbed slightly. I don't quite get the discrepancy.

The problem is that there are many variables at play. Tire manufacturers don't all make a given tire size (ie. 265/35) to be the same dimensions as you go from one brand to another. Add to that the variation amongst different suspension set-ups. This includes wheel size, offset, lowered or not, camber settings...

This is why you get different answers. I don't think I've ever read of anyone successfully running a 265/35 tire without rub. Biggest I've run is 255/35 AD08R on oem height and camber and that rubbed a bit on full lock.

Sometimes you won't truly know until you take the risk of trying it for yourself and be prepared to possibly have to make changes if you are not satisfied with the outcome. Otherwise play it safe with what other's have reported will work without a doubt.

I run 255/35/19 on the fronts. When they were new there was some rubbing on full lock. I've never heard of 265/35/19 working on the front.

I have 255/35 anf 275/35 with 15 and 12mm spacers and the fronts rub on full lock sometimes, the rear when I use the rear seat and go over big stuff.

This is working great for me (see signature) with stock non-EDC, non-ZCP suspension.

Thanks...I know that will work for sure, as it reduces the diameter of the wheel by 3mm overall compared to stock. I'm looking to lose as little as possible or even gain some to fill in the well without lowering. I think I might by a pair of used 265/35 and see how it goes first.

Think I have the exact same set up on my ZCP wheels with Blizzaks and stock suspension with the competition package. My summer set is a 30 profile on a 20" wheel so it's different. And even that rubs a teeny weeny bit in the front on a hard turn.

Right, 295/30 is almost the same diameter as stock. But keep in mind I've got aftermarket wheels. 295/30 may rub with your wheels, depending on offset.

Here's the 295/30 with 12mm spacers:

Mind if I ask what offset is that? My wheels coming in have +22 rear. The pics I've scoured says it should tuck just slightly, but nothing to worry about.
