I'll be down in San Diego this weekend if anyone is interested in Tuning/Coding.

More exciting things to come soon, just playing catchup and organizing myself. I have two weeks of emails to respond to, I will reply in the next couple days.

Thanks!
Mike

One of my tuning clients sent me this yesterday, thought I'd share.

Here's a video showing you successfully removed my top speed limiter:

Thanks for the tuning - I had a blast!!

Stay 'tuned' for a group buy on the Stage I and Stage II Performance Software Tunes.

I'm currently hand assembling the flashing cables and will start a new thread on it soon with pictures, info, dynos, and videos!!!

rjd598: shoot me a PM with your phone # if you would. I'm answering phone requests first and then going to the backlog of emails. I'm also near SD for the next couple days if you are interested in something on site.

Thanks!
Mike

Mike,

I have the ZCP package and I do many track days. What is the benefit for me to get the Euro-MDM tune?

Euro MDM allows more aggressive driving than the US mode does. This means that you can push the car harder before DSC kicks in.

Hey everyone, I have updated my signature with my cell #. I hate to keep apologizing for being late on emails, I have a ton of work on my plate and I wish there were 48 hours in a day. I'm doing my best, but am a solid three weeks behind. I'm also hand assembling and testing the end user performance tune flashing tuning cables. Here are a couple of shots showing most of the parts pre-assembly. I'm also testing a few new coding tricks and the new factory engine software differences in the mss60 digital motor electronics unit.

We'll have quite a bit more product information, a new website, and more to come soon.

I appreciate everyones patience in my delay getting back to you. Feel free to give me a ring for a more immediate response.

So you could code my 2010 with 240E, 5-time turn signals, auto folding mirrors, no speed limiter, Euro MDM, etc.?

I want, I need.

I be willing to pay for you to come to my house and do it: 105/LAX.

Yum. Might have to call you to spur you on. Great stuff.

Feel free to give my cell a call (in my sig). Website doesn't show much until our new one is launched.

Played around with 6MT freestanding rev-limit in the new 240E software today.

If I floor it in neutral the car rev's to 3,500RPM and smoothly stays there. Then pull the clutch out and it launches like a monster. I think this is a must have feature for 6MT cars! Now all we need is a 4 wheel drive retrofit and evo's will be scared left and right. Will post a video on it later.

Edit: Also haven't had a chance to respond to any PM's or emails yet. I'm slowly getting to them. Sorry about the delay - for immediate response please call my direct #.

Thanks!

Here's my list...

- Apply 240E
- Remove speed limiter (just because)
- Apply Euro MDM
- Apply auto folding mirrors
- Apply 5-time turn signals
- Ooohh, and Brighter angel eyes (just because)

I assume 91-octane optimization is standard? It's all we have here in CA anyway.

What do you mean by "torque management parameters"? "Fuel Stop Suggestion Option"?

I'll call you, I have you in my phone now.

91 Octane optimization is standard for those in California unless they request 93 or race gas.

Fuel stop suggestion is an added option in iDrive (on some cars it may be already there). When a route is set in the navigation system, you can go to route preferences and click fuel stop suggestion. This will show you gas stations along your intended route, so you don't have to back out and change your current destination.

Torque management parameters are controls in the engine control unit. They are modified to allow the car to produce more, and more linear, consistent power.

Give me a ring when you're ready and we'll get it coded up to your spec.

On a side note, I just wanted to say RIP to someone the BMW community lost this last week. This came as a major shock to me this morning. Charles (Vodyk) was a valued member over on m5board.com and was always willing to help those in need. RIP Charles, you will be missed by many: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...rip-vodyk.html

How do I get a cable?

Plus I don't have a battery charger other than a trickle one which I doubt is good enough. Ideas, suggestions? Or if we arrange an on-site visit at my digs (for a fee of course) would you bring one?

We can supply the cable or if you're local, you can just make an appointment to come by. For 99% of standard coding, a battery stabilizer is not necessary.
