King Tut's Pics of My First Mod ( Vorshlag Stud Kit )
My buddy came over to watch/help with the install. He brought his camera and snapped some pics. I got these in anticipation of my Volks coming this month so that I can run some Volk lugs as well:
I figured since it is really just pics that this was the best forum, otherwise maybe wheels and tires.

He installed Studs instead of using lug studs. I don't know about the weight savings but it makes repeated mounting or dismounts of the wheel easier. Also he is mounting Japanese wheels, I am not sure if there is an issue with lug nuts vs lug studs though?

I don't swap often. I got them because I hate wheel bolts. I like running nice looking lightweight lugs instead.

I'm sure the pads will quickly remove any oil left on the rotor by my hand. Or would it make you feel better if I told you I sprayed the rotors down with brake parts cleaner afterward? I was too lazy to have my buddy go sit in the car and hold the brakes.

Which lug kit did you go with? I use the Turner Motorsport Anodized ones that theoretically make cross threading the lugs impossible.
I use stud kits on any car I use for track. Removing the wheels constantly for brake pad changes and wheel and tire changes. I love stud kits and they look so much better I had RE30's on my E46 M3 and I loved them. They looked so goofy without studs. you're going to love them and in Champion silver on LMB you can't go wrong. I'm kind of jealous
