Opinions please on 08 e90 M3?

Looking into a 08 e90 M3 12,500 miles Jerez Black fully loaded 6MT CPO'D. Opinions on price and should I finance or lease? What are the current finance and lease rates for 08 models?

A BMW stealership was trying to get me at 7.9% and was saying that the M3 didn't have special rates right now...

Thanks!!!

I'm still searching for a great deal.

How much are they asking? 7.9% seems way high, BUT there might not be any deals on '08 Financing...

Lease and finance rates on used are typically not as good as what is offered for new cars from my experience.

That is generally true, but the last few years dealerships have been offering great rates on used vehicles, like 0.9%! They even offer special rates on M cars, but currently it appears NOT to be available on 08+ M cars.

This is the current rate specials that BMW NA is offering on used vehicles:

There's no subvented financing from BMW Financial on '08 M3s, so you're going to have a bank rate loan. If you're a good credit risk the dealer can probably get you a loan in the 5-6% range, just make your deal contingent on them passing along the buy rate on your loan to you.

Thanks to everyone who responded!

Do you think a lease is worth it? Penalties for going over alloted miles per year? I believe its like 10,000 miles per year? After 3 years, what do you do next in a lease? What are your options?

Those special finance rate is always for 3 years old models.
Most of BMWs on the street are 3 years lease so BMW always have too many lease retunes for 3rd year car so that's their way to get rid of it quickly.
CPO/Special APR.

When you're not qualified for it, your lease rate is pretty bad.
Depends on your sale tax rate, I think you can shave 1 - 3k down from there.
And look for Penfed for 3.9% used car apr.

I do not think it's worth it to lease a used car, might as well lease a new one.

For CPO car , I think 50 to low 50 would be deal

why would you need cpo its still under the bmw warranty. 56k is a little much when people on this board were fetching them for 49k a few months ago.... and the economy is still in the crapper.
