I use the rear diff too. Related question, does anyone have a jack that can reach the front center jack point? It's annoying having to do the sides by the side jack point and raise the car way up in the air.

I do. AC Hydraulics makes the one I have.

I just drive up onto a 2x10 on each side and that gives me enough room under the front lip (HF jack.) you get even more clearance getting at it from right behind a front wheel.

Which model AC Hydraulics do you have? I have a very small garage, so there isn't much room around the sides or front or back of the car when it's in there. I want a jack that is long enough to reach the center jack points, but not so long that it can't be used in my garage.

I drive the front of the car up on ramps, lift that, and then use a block of wood and jack on the frame right behind the diff. Never had a problem.
