Sparkling Graphite E92 M3 - Subtle Mods

Nothing crazy here, just simple mods. Might lower the front a bit to match the rear. Still on stock rims, NYC's roads are unforgiving. May want to trade my stock rims for a black ZCP reps with tires. Not crazy about the black reflectors, going back to stock and ordering a color match one.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics...

Keep the 18's and go with a 1" drop spring all around (eibach, h&r, etc...) and some spacers and your set.

If was living in manhattan again this would be my year round set up. 18's can absorb a lot and the drop will give you enough clearance.

Looks awesome.

Ricfutures, I might just do that. Makes more sense really, do you know the size of spacers I would need to make it flush?

I got the same setup minus the front spoiler and I keep debating if I should switch the rims. Looks pretty damn good IMO

I actually like the rims, I considered painting it black, but decided to keep it as is. I just hate to buy an expensive rims and to F it up driving around NYC.

Did some search and found a good measurement for the spacers for my stock setup. What do you guys think?

Front: 10mm
Rear: 15mm

Why don't you take a ruler and just measure what you need to make it flush?

I can attest that the OEM 18s, with the taller tyre wall, can take a relatively good beating. I slightly dented the inner edge of one of my front 359Ms on a particular pothole. I went over the same pothole with my 18s (which are my road wheels - 359Ms being my track wheels) at the same speed for interest sake, and it was still nice and round when I had the wheel spun.

Beautiful color, but I'm bias. I'd definitely recommend getting painted reflectors from iND. The color match is perfect, and much better than the stock orange reflectors IMHO.

Your front lip shows up way more than my CF splitters. Mine almost look like they are part of the car.

Great looking car! Grey would have been my second choice after white I think. It looks so good in person.

ALSO: Anyone else bothered by the fact that the spider in the painting only has 7 legs...?

I believe it's a JL VRS rep. I got it from a member here.

erm324, I actually do The influx of folks that moved in LIC in the last couple of years really killed all my go to parking spots. I park there often, I might consider a monthly thing with them.

I saw a member here with a black reflector on a Space Gray. I thought it may work with the Sparkling Graphite. I ordered the color match from IND should be here within a few days.

Front spoiler is a VRS rep. unfortunately the fitment is not perfect. I actually had to mod it a bit to make it look decent.

Had to do some modifications to my eBay splitters, still don't fit that great. Any idea of those guys make diffusers too? That would be great.
