M3 vs c63 coupe performance package

Hello everyone...
PP-Performance tuned m3 ( stock intake ) vs 2012 c63 coupe with performance package.

m3 mod list:
PP-Performance tune
Active Autowerke pulley
Eisenmann race exhaust with full custom x pipe and cat delete

Patiently waiting??

they call it performance package, not sure what development package is.

i have raced the same c63 coupe 3 weeks earlier before the tune. i was humilated. c63 is a true beast. i had it for a full day and i tested it to the limits. the sudden force of acceleration on little trottle is addictive!

That C63 in your pictures does NOT have the extra 30hp. All C63s with the performance package (or whatever they call it in each country) have different rotors and red calipers and CF spoiler. You can also tell by the color of the engine cover. The C63 in the picture is 451hp not 481hp.

We also know the C63 with the 481hp engine has tested to be much faster in a straight line than the M3. For an M3 to be the same or faster it would need more than a tune.... therefore this car could not have had the extra power. Regardless, it is impressive to see how much faster the M3 became with a tune.

Well, after seeing these videos and how the M3 kicked this "civic" C63's a$$, I believe this M3 will give the 481hp C63 a run for its money.

Wait a second, so we have come to the conclusion that the c63 above is in fact the one with "only" 451hp. And is pretty much losing by a car and a half.. to an M3 with a tune and exhaust etc.

And you come in here saying that SAME m3, let alone a stock one will give the 481hp C63 a run for it's money?

Well not a stock one, but this one seems preety fast. Car and a half? I guess you missed race #4. But what will you know, it appears that you don't own an e9x m3 nor a C 63. Yeah I know, you have driven both and all your friends have one or the other and have raced a bizillion times. Yes, the 481 hp c63 is darn fast. All I'm saying, this M3, although may not beat a perf pack c63, will not get that raped neither, as for example a stock m3.

And you get off the c63's too, or better yet go buy one, with a courtesy membership to a MB forum. Dude, I understand and admit that the c63 with PP is faster than an M3 with bolt ons. But there's no need to be disrespectful.

If the PP C63 has really only 30bhp more then the C63 in these videos , I don't see why this M3 would not be an almost perfect match for the PP C63 , I think you could be overestimating what 30bhp does on a 1800kg car !

Maybe... it is nice to see that an M3 with voided warranty (from the tune) and full exhaust and cat delete will give a stock C63 with PP option a run for its money. I have seen PP C63's completely walk non-PP C63's in videos but who knows. I do think the now out of warranty M3 will be very close with the still in-warranty C63. Remember that stock for stock, the C63 is 4 seconds faster to 150mph than an M3 which is like a football field spread Oh, and yes I have owned both so you can't use that against me like you have with others

P.S. This is not a statement that the C63 is a better car but everyone knows it is a much faster car stock for stock and the M3 needs a lot of mods to be competitive in a straight line... if that sort of thing even matters to you.

At least ,it's nice to know that my almost out of warranty 08 M3 will be a lot faster with those mods !!

There should be more video like these to document M3 with differents mods , specially for the VT1-535 where there's not really any good indicative of how fast the M3 is with that kit !

Thanks to all for the replies. My m3 is a 2009 model. All my modifications where done after my warranty expired.
This tread is not to flame the c63. It is truly a great car. We all know what it can do with similar mods to my car. But nonetheless, the m3 was impressive.
