AW+CF BMW Performance Spoiler Installed
I just installed my performance spoiler which i got from IND. I asked them to paint the top white and leave the backside CF. I really like the look, and I'm glad i took this route. I installed it with 3M tape, and im 100% sure it will stay on. I don't think it has been done like this on a white car before, so here you go:
I installed it at night, so I'll take better pics tomorrow. * Thanks to Nate and Andrew at IND, the paint is perfect and the packing of the spoiler was excellent!

It's not that hard but it took me a really long time, and I have blisters all over my fingers. The 3M tape was very tough to cut through, even when i heated it with a hairdryer. I used dental floss and it kept cutting, so i would recommend something stronger like a fishing line. Also, when the stock spoiler was off, it was tough getting the residue tape off. So I kept heating it with a hair dryer and rubbing the residue off.

Looks great! But, ... what's up with the gap on the right hand corner along the leading edge?

Might be due to the fact that 3M tape was used instead of Betalink. Maybe, i don't know. Still looks real good. I think when I do mine, I will do it with DS tape first. I can always Betalink it later.

There was a gap because I didn't put 3M tape on the corner by mistake. After I saw the gap I just pushed hard on the spoiler at the ends, and i think the 3M tape compressed or something, and there is no longer a gap.
