x5m vs slighty modded e92 m3

Both cars are mine, i always felt the x5m was a bit faster off the line and even from a roll.

2010 m3 mods include RE SSK, AFE Filter, Fabspeed XFC / Xpipe, Exhaust, AA ECU 1.5v, BMW PSW, Envy Charger, Pilot Super Sport Tires 285/rear

2011 x5m : K&N fitler and everything else

see video's below

Had i launched controlled the x5m it wouldnt' have been pretty ..

I was the driver of the E92 M3, too much power and torque IMO even though the M3 is much lighter.

ahah that sucks for us M3 owners.. knowing something twice the size is in fact faster.
well i guess "it's not all about straight line speed" - the excuse for all street races lost

"hey as*hole you in M?" haha gotta love it

HAHA,

-just about 150 more hps and 150 lbs of torque is just too much.

-i wonder what the new F10 M5 will do to the E92 M3s. Of course it'll be 30k-40k more with options.

If you rotate the phone 90 degrees, it would make for a better video.

I don't get how an M3 can lose to an X5M

First of all, watch who you calling a kid, before i put the smackdown on you, Capiche?

Second, face it, E92 M3s will never be faster then other M series cars because you know why..... BMW won't let it happen.

M3<M5/M6/X5M. 70k vs 100k.

don't get me wrong the m3 feels faster , lighter , pulls harder but the torque just kicks in and punches you.

back when another coworker bought his 2010 x5m i ran my m3 against it and it also got walked ( no exhaust at that point which is minimal)

I'll be happy to set up a quick run w/ anyone who has DCT in the area

I can't help but laugh a little. 90 MPH Street race recorded by the driver with a camera phone. Well played.

X5M is a beast for sure though.

Not only that, you see a bunch of school buses in the background and a car about to pull out on the road they are racing on. It's just an accident waiting to happen.

Still don't get it.
My X6M will consistently get to 60 in 4.5 and 100 in 10.5.
I have always assumed the M3 was a tad quicker than that.

bus's are parked there but they actually don't come out to that road, also a 0~90 sprint w/ clear road ahead

we'll do another run may be tommrow while i drive my m3 and him driving his x5m.. we'll see

may be due to the fact that i weight 135lbs lol j/k
