What a tool!

The M3 must be a tool magnet cause I had an interesting encounter with a clown in a black on black 335i coupe, with Jersey tags, this morning. I left Rockville Pike and got on 495N towards College Park. As I come off the ramp, I noticed a Montgomery County cruiser in the fast lane, there was also a merc in front of me. I signaled and got in the fast lane, the merc also put on his signal to get in the fast lane-- as his lane was about to run out, so I got in the adjacent lane to give him enough room. As soon as I got in the adjacent lane, I noticed this 335i black on black bmw coupe race up beside me and then took off as if to challenge me to a race. Hwy racing, really?! He must have gunned his engine to about 100 mph before he saw the Montgomery County cop and then slowed down and got in the right lane to wait for me. He turned and looked at me as I got beside him. Gave him a dirty look and drove off. So, to the jersey shore racer, you're lucky you saw the cop or else.... You really give 335i owners a bad name. Just had to vent.

Some people definitely have more money than sense. Good to see you did not get drawn into that race. It's too bad the cop did not stop him.

ROFLOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WIN!

some people dont value their license, i dont know what to say. Should have just pretended like he didnt exist instead of giving him the dirty look. It would drive him crazy, he's dying for attention from the M3 driver. I never give it to them

good luck fending them off OP, plenty more to come in the future

I was hoping he would get himself a nice little ticket.

I was south of Myrtle Beach on 17N with my top down and awesome sounding exhaust. Taking off from red lights I'd goose it a little to get around traffic more than anything, but I enjoyed the sound too.

If you don't know the area, Myrtle Beach is motorcycle country. A guy on a bike with open pipes rode beside me for 30+ miles revving his bike trying to get me to reciprocate. I guess he liked the sound as much as me. There were deputies and city police all along the drag. I refrained knowing that an officer from S.C. would love to have a reason to pull me over. They are corrupt down there and want our out of state money any way they can get it.

Point is, tools ride motorcycles too.

I completly agree with this thread. HOLY SHIT!!!! I drove a black 335 for 2 years and nothing. Now Ive had my M3 one week to the day, and damn its true. It is a magnet for A-holes on the road. Ive been run off the road twice (two tinted out SUV's), had a kid in his 328 this evening with his girlfriend in the car, come flying behind me to the point where I couldnt even see his head lights. Then he proceeds to gun it while passing to my right. Man I wish there was a statetrooper around.
This all while I was going out for a spin with my wife and two kids to get ice cream. I ignored him though, but as he passed me I could see his retarded face looking at my throght his rearview.

i had a similar thing happen to me awhile back on 87 North heading to Albany. i was just crusing along and a 335 from behind comes flying up behind me at prob 120mph then as he gets beside me slams his brakes to get even with me and cut off prob 3 cars in the process. then the idiot takes off as if i was gonna race him and is flying in and out of traffic. about 2 miles down the hwy i see him pulled over and out of the car with the cop. lmao i beeped my horn and waved at him as i went by

Had my first 335 doucher experience last week too. Two red lights within a few hundred feet of each other. He pulls up next to me at the first, light turns green, I just drive normal, he spools and guns it to the next light lol! He goes left, I turn right.

I have encountered this situation with many non M cars from 328s to 335s and the older e46 non M cars. Could be they are trying to justify why they could not get a M car.

That is the most accurate explanation!
