e92 M3 Competition/CSL IN USA?
there have been many rumors and speculation going around that the CSL "might" be comming over to the US from the high unexpected demand it had in europe on the e46s. whats your take on this?
imho, i really hope they give us the CSL. the competition package here isn't even equivalent to the real deal offered in europe. how sick would e92 csl be. i can only imagine, alcantara interior, no radio, some extra ponies out of the engine, and that sound |

I couldn't live without AC. Even my track car has AC.

you guys are missing the point. CSL doesn't need all that crap lol. who needs music if you got that c/f intake box growling throughout the gears.
obviously the csl would be the extremist car and the competition package be for those who want even more exclusivity i guess. |

i think the CSL's options should be stock piled with standard features on the non-CSL M3 such as a/c, radio, etc. to me, that seems like an easy way to attract the US market and make it worthwhile to bring the car here.
personally, if i'm going to be getting the rawest form of M3 out there it would be very difficult to add any of those otherwise standard features to it.

Doing great, just drove it in the snow the other day. Handles great with Blizzaks.
BTW I think the CSL is a nice car for those wanting the most performance I have no doubt BMW will make one. Question is will it make it over to the USA.

Posts number two and three, thats the reason no CSLs in the USofA!!!
I'd like to see CSLs in a BMW Challenge type setting. Privateer racing with (paid) factory assistance. I'd watch the helloutta that. |
