I always thought that ADV.1 were really good in large thanks to their publicity. Thanks to this thread not anymore, gracias everybody for the consumer advice. MORR is where its at IMHO.

ADV.1 wheels look damn sexy, but they are PepBoys & Advance auto Parts quality. They should be sold for $800 a set. LOL

I don't know why people spend soo much money on these shit wheels. They are cheap crap.these guys are just great at marketing. The wheels are nonsense and nothing I would ever put on one of my cars.

I'll bet the F80/82 guys will eat them up.
The M5 guys LOVE ADV, and when you try to earn them, they totally flame you, then the mods ban you.

SO TRUE!

My mate told us he bought new rims (with tires) for 12k and wouldn't tell us the brand. Soon as they came in, he took a 'teaser' shot and told us to guess what brand they are... I knew right away what brand they were and started bashing them. He got super defensive for his purchase. Needless to say, he still runs them and I hope they don't break when we go on our weekly mountain runs this spring/summer.

Poo is WAY TOO NICE for ADV.
But really it's not just ADV in terms of wheel quality, since most of these boutiqe wheels are made by MHT.
You want to buy a wheel that's TUV/JWL/VIA certified to ensure its a quality wheel.

So now, the price of their wheels are justified. I guess.

Congrats on stepping up and competing.

MHT maybe. That is where their wheels are made.

Track record is still crap why spend 4k on ADV when BBS and HRE have such a long track record of great service. Also just because the wheels are TUV certified doesn't mean their customer service isn't complete crap.

When I input that certificate number into TUV Austria's website, nothing comes up.

I just found a pair of 360 forged(adv) for 740 in storage. I threw them away cause I knew I couldn't get rid of them and don't have the space.
