Has my trunk been repainted or Sloppy factory paint job

I've becoming a little more OCD about my vehicle...
This is the interior shot of trunk. It appears the paint stops a couple of cm on the inside of the trunk....and transition into this black paint or primer..

LeMan Blue.. E93

Is this normal? Can someone else confirm this in their car? Thanks
Normal or Sloppy BMW paint job...cutting cost...?

We all know some times some of the panels dont line up perfectly...straight from the factory..i.e. Rear bumper not perfectly flush with fender..or hood and front bumper gap...etc..etc.. orange peel...in new paint..etc..etc..

Clear Carfax and Autocheck...
If this car was in an accident...that require a new trunk....thats major damage that would shown up on Carfax/autocheck... Usually people dont pay out of pocket for major repair..

All BMW cars are like this. Check out under your hood as well. The underside of panels aren't finished like the exterior or jambs

That looks normal - like said above, look under the hood too. BMW has been doing this for awhile now - my previous 2007 Z4MC was done in the same way from the factory.

Not sure - looks like the bolts [especially in the first pic] have been removed before...

Run your fingers over the seams, as long as you don't feel a raised edge from tape lines, your good.

Another questions for you guys

It seems rear bumper sit more flush with the rear fender panel on one side...vs...the other side. Is this normal?

I removed the tail lights on the RIGHT side...and the tab is not broken either.

Overspray on the bumper mounting bracket because the dealer autoshop did not remove the bumper to repaint a 3 inch scratch on the bumper.

I'm noticing alot of small stuff that I never notice before...Maybe I need to stop looking soo carefully..
hahahah
