I shit you not...

I just went to the $1 store to pick up some chocolate(had a bad craving) and I overheard the person in the other lane...

...(80+yr old person holding up a bear figurine) Can you price check this for me?

The employee chuckled but tried to hide it and said "thats a dollar".

Customer continues with "I wasnt sure, it was mixed in with other items".

Needless to say, I had to leave quickly and come right back here to share it with you.

OH, if it matters, I got a giant Chunky with peanuts and raisins.

Dude, have you actually been to a dollar store? Its like a holy grail. All the food has to legally be within expiration period so its all safe. Secondly, youll find things there that you pay $3-5 normally(maybe more). Its really great.

Old people amuse the hell out of me....
I work in an "adult living community" country club..and yesterday I was waiting on this old couple that was considering buying a house..of course..I give the shittiest service imaginable so they don't move there. lol. Anyways..this lady was asking me all these questions...keep in mind she's like 890 yrs. old looking like she just came back from life after being dead 50 years..crippled bitch..anyways...I take out her food...she makes me take back her steak because "green stuff was touching it...I JUST CAN'T EAT THIS!" So I take it back into the kitchen and the cook says "OH..I'll take care of this..." then winks at me. LOL. So when they were done with their dinner they were asking me "sooo....where is the nearest shopping center?" "Do you mean...mall?" "yeah..one of them...". So I proceded to give them directions and they were blankly staring at me expecting me to draw a diagram for them on a napkin or something...yeahhh...so when they were about to leave she got one of the suggestion cards that we have placed on the tables..she fills out "service was satisfactory..but may I suggest that you get homemade yogurt..we need soft foods....(i'm thinking baby food...lol) and allow foods for those that have diabetes...". That place makes me cry at night... lol. I like that smilie. The End.

Ok ok fine. I bought 2 candy bars for $1, BUT they were clearly marked.

you know what? EVERY dollar store ive been into, (not much just about 3) was just to see the people that shop there. shockingly, it makes walmart look good. yeah, i know. sad. and yeah, at the dollar store, there are a good bit of things that cost more than a dollar.

and if u shop at walmart, no offense. (Target FTW lol jk jk)
