My lifted Chevy truck was stolen 1/3/10
The throttle cable broke while I was on 101 on the way to Gilroy. I managed to roll the truck off the highway on to Bailey Road. I left the truck there over night and when I got there this morning it was gone. There was glass all over the ground and the empty bag of Dorritos I left in there was on the ground as well.
I know there isn't much I can do, and the best thing would be to put it behind me. But if any of you please see the truck let me know. Its a 1990 Z71 Stepside, Rhino liner paint job, 15" lift, 15" black steelies with 39" thornbird tires, 1 ton solid axles. Its a pretty unique looking truck because of the Rhino liner paint job.

That's a badass looking truck. I will keep my eye open. Good luck finding the truck (in one piece) and I hope the thief gets what's coming to him!

That's crazy, how did they even steal it with a broken throttle cable? I can't imagine them being able to get it onto a flatbed.
Also, that is not exactly an easy truck to miss. I guess it will be chopped since they sure as hell can't drive it around without being spotted.

first post since I usually just read the threads. I live in the bay area but have family in fresno. Saw a truck go past me driving like a crazy mofo (using the emergency shoulder) and it looked really close to that(was late at night). Saw it while entering fresno travelling southbound so theres a good chance it could have come from gilroy. Sorry I dont have any other information...good luck.
