DEBATE.............

Do you guys think we will see 2.9% on the 2008 coupes? I'm debating on getting the 2008 or just waiting for the 2009. What do you guys think, pros and cons other then the new Idrive?
Thanks,
Chris

I think there is more volume on the sedans and verts, so the 2.9% from BMWNA. The coupes are moving, albiet much slower than they'd like. IMO, with the smaller volume in the coupes and mileage racking up on test drives, I think BMWNA will leave it to the local dealers to make their own deals to move the units based on volume, demand, region, etc. So no 2.9% on the coupes... one man's opinion. But there still should be some "deals" to be had if you're flexible on options.

I'm in the same boat and debating myself. The only difference I've heard is the iDrive and redesigned headrests. Question is, is the new iDrive that materially different? The BMW training presentation shows much better graphics for sure and there are hard keys surrounding the knob now, but if it's actually better is getting mixed reviews.

Personally, I'm leaning towards ordering an '09. Still trying to flesh out deals on the '08s. If not the right deal, wait on '09, time is on my side, not in a rush... Other than I want one!!! (Last had a '97 M3 Sedan).

Probably depends on how many are still left when the '09s start hitting the lots. Has BMW cut back production on '09s as was rumored to happen? And has the supply of '08s gone down significantly yet, or are they still piled up all around the country?
