rough idle then stalled
I was in the Tim Hortons drive thru this morning when out of nowhere the idle went up and down 3 times then stalled. The car had been running for about 4 minutes from a cold start to this point. I was able to refire and things seemed to be ok again.
I would chalk this up to stuff happens but this is the 4th time this has happened to me. The other 3 times I was able to keep the car from stalling but not this time. Has anyone experienced this? Is it time to replace the Idle Control Valve (ICV)? My car has 30,000 km and if it matter it's DCT. No fault code has been thrown.

I had this happen to me the past few weeks as well. Once the car stalled and a few times the idle would jump up and down and almost stalled. This is on a DCT. I'm going to book a service for the car soon to see what's going on.

Good thing it's not urgent (I hope) since the dealer can't see my car until April 22

I've had this happen three times in a year of ownership, though it hasn't happened in about six months. Do the experts still think it's likely to be the ICV? I guess it can't hurt to take it in.

b/c you have a 6MT, your problem is likely the control valve, take it in ASAP, b/c once it gives out, your car will be virtually impossible to drive, b/c everytime you come to a stop, the car will stall...
