M3 Vert pricing

Just released from the NY auto show...............65k...........OUCH!

For a "base" model!

I guess if you want to tan AND want to do it while going to 60mph in less than 4.7 seconds you gotta PAY..........

So with options and taxes will reach the 80K. Will be interesting to see if the posers will pay all that money.

Price was predictable.

4.7 seconds? Not a great chance of that happening in an E93 M3. I guess maybe the mag drivers that got 4.1s in the coupe or sedan might be able to hit it. Euro press releases had the *M-DCT E93 M3* at 5.2s to 100km/h.

The last convertible M3 (e46) was around 10k more. So this is exactly as expected.

Right, and I see lots of women, kids, and "posers" driving all kinds of BMW's including M3 coupes. As I said, the stereotype does hold in some cases, but not everyone driving a convertible is a poser. And conversely not everyone driving a coupe is a true driving enthusiast.
