new user.

hey people.
i've been just reading the forums till now
and i've decided to register and talk about my car now =X
i've always asked people about cars since im a noob when it comes to machines lol
anyways...
here's my ride:
BMW 335 XI (i think it's 2008 since we got it on january 15th....)
the car isn't actually mine but i share it with my sister.
i'm too scared to change or look at stuffs since i don't want to ruin my first car
anyawys..
i was wondering if you guys could give me some information about my car
like how i should drive since it's a brand new car and stuff..
some people say drive like crazy till like 7k rpm untill 3000 miles.
some say drive below 4k rpm untill 3000 miles.
i honestly don't know who to trust =X
thx =D

i wouldnt push your cars engine on a dyno or a track right now. and i suggest blackline tail lights. they make a subtle but sexy difference.

congrats on teh car. post some pics of ur sister plz

Well since you're an official member, now you HAVE to do something with your car. j/k

Welcome to the forum, if you have an e90 (sedan), I would definitely recommend Blacklines for first mod or if you have an e92 (coupe), paint your amber sidemarkers ASAP 89.. damn you are young...... and Korean? lol

Welcome to the forum...

...but, something is very puzzling...you don't know anything about the car but you are looking to take it on a track...

I don't think a Dyno or taking it to the Track would be a good idea if it's still brand new. Just my opinion.

Just follow the instructions in the manual for break in. That's straight from the horses mouth. In addition, many people do an oil change after the break-in period (I did one at 1200 miles). You'll have to pay for that one, because BMW won't do the first oil change for 12-15,000 miles (way too long). Other than that, you don't have to do much but enjoy the awesome car.

1. Pics of your sister please.
2. You shouldn't be looking to drive/mod/track the car if it's your sister's car.. She'll be the one to decide those things.
