I am actually not sure what that one button is, possibly for the rear bumper sensors? or the auto-start stop function? Or most likely the hill control thing. Yea i think it's the hill control thing so it doesn't roll when parked.

The tow caps are actually inside the glove compartment. The car comes with the tow caps taken out, suspension blocks for loading/unloading, and the car is in transportation mode when delivered.

I pick it up later this week, not today

That button is or the auto start function. Defaults to off.

Feels like a dream? It is a dream, one you don't want to wake up from!

Congrats! Glad to hear someone is THAT happy with this car. I can't wait to take delivery(~1 month to go). All the negative posts and threads are dragging me down. Good to see someone who's content with their decision.

I was in the same boat when mine was at the port. Although I wasn't anywhere close to backing out, all of the complaints I read here dampened my mood about it (which in hindsight was probably a good thing since it helped cut the "OMG get here now!!!" edge off).

I look at it like this. The M3 is a "I want" car. Very, very few people "need" a 414HP sport sedan/coupe. You need space, get a Camry/Accord/Fusion. You want something small so you aren't tempted to drive around with a ton of people or things, get a small car (country of your choice). So the shear fact you are getting this car means there is something you have found special about it.

From everything I have read, this car is very reliable (given the total number produced). The "feel" of the car will always be subject to opinion. If that is your biggest concern then you should have really test driven as many different models as you can.

If you are going in blind, basing judgement on history, heritage, and hearsay then you owe it to yourself to give the car a fair chance. Stop reading the positive and negative comments, frame what "you" want the car to be, and give it a chance to live up to expectations. Every vehicle has compromises (hence why manufacturers make different models). You have to decide which compromises you can't live with, and if the car has them then walk away. If it doesn't, give her a chance to win you over. And I bet she will!

Thanks man! I ignored every negative comment. It's an *M3*, no complaints here. After your first drive, you will never want to get out of the seat! Yes, i promise you will fall in love.

I got the car Monday, around 5. I already have 350 miles on it!! First two days i drove it at least 100 miles each day. Slowly starting to drive it less and less but its very hard too! Gas on this thing, it swallows it, but its very well worth it!

I will get pics up as soon as I can! I just don't think about taking pictures when I look at it, I just want to drive it!!

BTW, the wheels, I like them! They are nice, I like the finish!

PS: Some guy at the dealership saw my car, and ordered it EXACTLY the same as mine. Not one option off Do I have good taste or what?

addition : Oh and BTW, I love the standard speaker system, it sounds SO clear and crisp, its perfect, loud, and has a nice bass. NOT one complaint with this car.

Oh and if the speaker system wasn't nice, it wouldn't really matter..... We all know why ....Windows down

here a few I took the day of arrival!

And of course, the picture that proves that I am a true Man.
