DCT shift knob removal "how to". Does it exist?

I searched and came up empty handed. I found a few images on google, but no instructions.

A little help?

Just pull up hard and be careful not to smash your face

Pry the boot leather closest to the dash up. Now the rest of the boot will release. Gently pull the connected wire out. It's also closest to the dash.
Now pull up on the shifter. As mentioned, watch your face!
