I mourn the disappearing glass area. My 2002 had so much more window than modern BMWs (and everything else these days).

Slightly smaller kidneys and it would be pretty good. Better than the current for sure.

I think: 5 Series with 300+hp turbo engine plus new design =
An awesome step up from a 3 Series!

This could be the ticket when my lease is up in 2009. I have a strong feeling that it will be even another 2 or 3 inches bigger then the current 5er. That might be too big for my taste...not to mention the price tag.

BTW, I heard a rumor that a 550iL is being introduced soon.

I don't think we'll see the F10 in the U.S. until 2010 as a 2011 model.
That is, unless BMW plans to shorten their model year cycles.

Even if it was introduced in the Spring of 2010,
it would still be ahead of the usual 7 year timeframe.

yeah, since its a sketch evrythings out of proportion, the production would look different, i agree on the kidneys, they need to be smaller...

edit: i guess it all really depends on BMW gettin the proportions perfect, and i hope they dont mess the rear up !

Nice touch. I still prefer the kidney grill of the e92 over the e90 however.

Artist depictions are always exaggerated. I agree the wheels and kidney grilles look too big.

The rear passenger roofline looks too low, though I understand the trend toward making sedans look more coupe-like.

Not 2009 ( and wont look like that )

E60 facelift is due March 2007
So the F10 (next 5 Series) will only be due September 2010

This drawing is of course just a guess how the new 5 series will look like.

Anything they do to the 5 when the new model comes out would be an improvement over the the current gen.
