Well, this is actually the one off of my car. I modified another one (I bought an extra here for the mod in case I didnt like it), and I sold the car a while back.. Just remembered I had this lying around, might as well sell it!
The resonator mod was awesome. Took away the tin can rattle.. much nicer growl.

One side of your exhaust has no resonator. The us market is this way.. but in europe both sides have resonators. The mod is to take out a piece of pipe and weld in a ar20 resonator. Its a quick and dirty job (and risk free if you buy another midpipe). Its a great mod, every e46 owner with a stock exhaust should do it.

You are just adding another one on the other side. Very easy mod, any muffler shop will weld it on for you and you can install it... just a few bolts.
