He's got to be playing to the camera or ordering carry out from some Indian restaurant.

Looks like one of my standard right-seat sessions. Did something strike someone as odd?

Yeah, this. I figured all instructors did this or sobbed like small children and kissed the ground after they got out?

BMW, Porsche -- whatever. The driver who was killing it in that run group was driving a blue Corvette C6 GS. $15k less than my E92 M3, about 40 more HP, 200# lighter, and equivalent grip. I didn't know much about C-cars, but I had generally observed they didn't corner all that well. This driver/car pair did not suffer from that difficulty. I don't think it's a 1:18 car on that track, but I saw him doing 1:28s, and it could be a 1:24.

That's not a real instructor, he doesn't have a communicator...

Although he doesn't seem like a real instructor to me either, I have ridden with many who did not have communicators. It sucks...

Real instructors care enough about their students to purchase communicators.

It's not about the track time, it is about sharing what you've learned (and hooking others on our drug of choice!). I don't particularly enjoy instructing anymore, but I still do it to give back to the BMW Club. Without BMW Club instructors, I wouldn't have learned so much and had so much fun. Conversely, I'd have a lot more money in the bank...

Tim (driver) and John (instructor was doing a check out ride) both co own this E36. It was funny given the prank.

The C6 is John's boss's car! C cars corner very well. Its a pure sports car vs sporty sedan like ours. Much wider tires, better aero, generally stock to stock, they will be quicker. I am not a C car fan and like BMW hence my preference. Our cars are good for 1:24 at Summit with just camber plates, r comps and pads all day long.

Cheers,

Lutfy
