You can use shorter bump stops and claim you have not reduced bump/compression travel...I guess.

Thanks. i'll dig into it more with dinan, they are local to me. i'm interested being that i'm a mechanical engineer...and if they did do it w/o affecting travel, how did they do it and was it a real solution

Well, using a shorter stack height strut mounts for the front end and shorter bump cushion for the rear will do it. If that is part of kit, then it's possible to make the claim.

do you need to use e36 bump stops with these swift springs to increase front suspension travel, or is the stock suspension rake ratio maintained front to back?

No, you don't, but it doesn't hurt to add them.

Has anyone actually used the Swift's on the track? And if so how is performance over stock ZCP springs?

take the swift... i have them... its on a stiff side compare to Eibach.. love them and would not trade it for an eibach for sure..

FYI though if you have EDC then you will have it where you can control to comfort mode and sport which is a significant change.... I was glad that i got SWIFT cause when im in a situation where i need to make hard turn i definately can without having to get my car swaying left or right. pretty straight in corners. lol

I definitely feel MORE PLANTED TO THE ROAD which is hard to achieve in an E9x ///M. I am very happy with these springs and spacers. Thanks EAS. Don't be fooled by the front wheel pic. Even though the front still has some wheel gap it is noticably lower by an inch.
The Swift Spec R springs looks like a better drop compared to the Eibach, H&R and most other springs, which drop the fronts too much and the rears not enough, resulting in too much rake. This is the main reason I switched from Eibachs to KW S/O, so I can adjust ride height and rake.

Swifts! Just ordered! going to have a track review I hope by end of May. After many discussions, it convinced me it's worth trying and potentially losing some money on if I don't like them.

if you have a ZCP car, then is it even worth it to get Eibachs?

IMO, not worth it. The Eibach drop is virtually the same. You might get 1/4 inch more drop upfront. I did a comparison with another car side by side, both were two finger gaps in front pretty much. Difference of a centimeter.

i LOVE them derek. at first i thought it would be too firm for me and that they will rub. and i was surprised that the ride is slightly firm but in a welcoming and more confident manner. my teen age daughters didn't feel the change riding at the back.

I have Eibachs and tracked them pretty hard last year. I am definitely losing time to a coil over setup but I don't think I would be losing time to other springs only setup. The ride is great, and the ride height is perfect. Looks good and I haven't really scraped my front bumper which is a plus.

I'm currently lowered on H&R race springs, but while I love the aggressive drop, I need more rubber up front. I'm currently running 245 / 30 / 20 and would like to go 255 / 30 / 20, but unfortunately got rubbing with the H&R springs. Will switching to Swift specs give me the added clearance I need?

I just changed my mind on springs swift look so nice. I was so close to buying eibachs that really dont look that bad its a mild drop. But after reading this year old thread I have changed my mind. Are you guys still running this setup and any changes in the ride bouncy,to stiff? I am tired of reading!

I have swifts for the past 7 months and about 3k miles. Love them. Ride is not bouncy at all. Stance is perfect. Ride is slightly stiffer. I have e36 bumpstops as well
