thanks man! thats going to be a tuff choice, I have a space grey 335i, its one of my favorite colors on an e92 but fire orange is something else but both very nice on their own levels. and as for the rims still debating haha

I'm excited for the path ahead of you. My one tip of advice is Do. Your. Research. Make sure you keep a vision of your car in mind when picking out your mods, and don't ever buy on impulse. I'm 12 months into modding my E92, and I just put on my new rims about 2 months ago. After looking over all my options, it finally came down to the 18" TE37. Here's mine below, I hope it helps in your decision-making process

If you are looking for gunmetal, I would recommend the wheels I have - RAC RG63. Very light 20-21lbs, 8000 ton forged wheels made by a group that is affiliated with Champion. Only ~70 sets made and only a few in gunmetal. There is a used set for sale at a silly price right now - link below:

I have no relationship to the seller, just great wheels at a really good price.

Congrats! And go with HRE, but its more of a preference thing, and what you like, and can do if on a budget, the modding never stops.

Thanks man! Yeah, Challenge lip painted gloss black. It's one of the more aggressive lips, so I do catch a little scraping from time to time, but nothing noticeable unless you get under the car. And if you're under the car to begin with, you probably have got bigger problems anyways.

Good luck!

Saw this at my local dealer in Morristown NJ this morning. Suddenly want to order a 2013 M3 in fire, then find a 2002tii in Inka to park next to it in the garage! This coming from someone who almost exclusively drives white, silver or gray cars..(perhaps that's because my dad had gray a 2002tii in the 70s - flat gray with a broad orange stripe, and the seed was planted!

Nice car but a rip-off IMO- stuffed with CF trim so it's $87K!!! Also black wheels are $3700 and you don't get original wheels. So it's $3700 to have your wheels painted black. Sign me up!

Car is wonderful and looks MUCH better in person but they are looking for a buyer who lives at the corner of Rich and Stupid!

Yeah but you don't have to buy the front bumper reflector deletes cause the car is already orange, so thats a ton of money saved right there

Well that is the business plan of the Open Road group! No personality, no service, constant badgering by 3rd party marketing,..I won't go on.

Actually those wheels are around $550 each. So it would cost only $2,200 to buy and put the tires on from the OEM wheels. So it's even cheaper.

I hate dealer mark ups...

But when you buy the car you are paying for the original wheels. So where are they?

In 19's, the price difference between the Volk TE37SL's and HRE's is around $1500. Your question should be would you rather spend $1500 more to get wheels made in the US that you can get in around 4 weeks, or get the Japanese wheel that if a dealer doesn't currently have in stock or ordered on the way from Japan, can take 3 months to get (but is also cheaper). You can't go wrong with either. I personally would rather have the TE37SL's because Volk has never disappointed me with their quality from prior cars I have had them on.

Im not to worried about the wait, not really in a rush, 1500 more for the hre's will deff have me thinking twice, but im just so curious how the would look HRE's on a FO in charcoal or gunmetal.. Prob sick!

Everyone and their moms have TE37's or HRE's. Try these instead and make your car stand out!
