3 colours on Grille

I often see pics of some kidney grille's with 3 /// in different colours (like my avatar) to the side. I am just wondering what that represents and if it's just something that goes on top of your already existing grille or requires the whole thing to be replaced? I quite like the look of it and would like to do it.

Any links of where it can be ordered from?

I ordered my entire grille from JBspeed. VERY nice with the "metal look"

I had the vinyl stripes from Bimmian awhile back. Decent quality for what they are and pretty easy application onto the car for the most part (I'm very picky about fitment/gaps, so I spent most of the application time making sure the stripes were perfect and the ends of the vinyl were tucked away nicely).

I didn't like the asymmetry of the look after awhile so I ended up pulling them off. I have extras so I might reapply them eventually.

It works the way it looks mate, lose the upper bolts to swing out the plastics, squeeze in hands and force/wiggle them out. "There will be blood"...

Yep, super simple. Ditch the four torx bolts at the top, pull the bumper back a few inches, unfasten the 6 push clips and push the grill from
Behind. Should not take you more than a total of 5 mins.

I wouldn't mind going the vinyl route either and I had placed an order on ebay but the seller canceled it and refunded as they don't ship to Canada. Can anyone recommend a good vinyl resource that'll stick and stay for a while? I heard they need to be specific width and stuff too for the E92's? thanks!

Ordered a set posted in the bmwsticker website link above. Let us see how it turns out, if it does the job I won't bother getting a replacement grille.
