In some parts of the world the MY2009 started before 09/08 (start of the new iDrive in the 3 Series).

What is not clear is if in that country of the link this applies, though...

"That country" is Germany. That's an 2008 M3 with LCI rear lights. BMW offers the LCI rear lights as a retrofit option (fair enough when you come up with an LCI 6 months after the introduction of the E90 M3). Having no M3 badge on the rear is a factory no-cost option (a great one IMO).

Best regards,
south

The ad is from a German dealer, but the car is used so it is not clear to me if the car indeed is German spec with that combo of LCI/old iDrive...

I hear you. Anyway, that's an authorized BMW dealer which can't just buy cars from all over the world. Like I said, that's an 08 spec car with retrofitted rear lights.

Best regards,
south

I have a coupe so if you sedan guys could help me out I have a question. Does your sedan have the cup holders in the fold down rear armrest like in those pictures? I have the armrest but don't have the hideaway cup holders that come out of the armrest like that.

€ 67,950 for the E92 M3 incl. VAT. There's no tax benefit for domestic cars.

Best regards,
south
