Looks interesting...it states "comes complete with a remap specially developed for this product to reach the full potential" So an ECU reflash I assume?

I like that its still an NA setup..I wonder what type of gains this makes

I dunno, never seen it before. I was actually searching for an intake used like on the race cars that is just a larger OEM manifold with a forward facing intake so you can run a filter near the rad support scoops and it's straight in as oppoed to the stock elbow. This design is essentially 3 intake ports with two large plenums that then cross over to the opposite cylinder banks. Looks pretty interesting actually.. (except for the price)

The german tuner Alpha-N is developing a carbon airbox for the M3 E9x. As far as I know, it should be ready somewhere in February. Their carbon parts are usually very high quality. I'm really looking forward to it.

Is the intake really what is limiting the power on the S65? Or is this the kind of mod you put on a 4.6L stroker with Shrick cams?

not to say its' limiting power but at speed that thing would have a real ram ir effect as it uses 3 K&N filters. I'm sure with the right setup:> this intake, shrick 284/292 cams, Dinan TBs, full exhaust this car will make a decent amount over 400whp. Maybe with a 4:10 rear a 6 speed could run high 10s in the 1/4. But like all else a nice all motor setup that has the letters BMW M3 in it will def be super $$$
