A dreamer no more...
I finally feel worth of being on this board...months of prowling...checking the car for sale forum multiple times per day...checking autotrader and doing the same searches even when I know there are no new search results...watching youtube videos of exhausts...0 to 300km/hr runs...my wife saying she is sick of hearing stupid car noises coming from the speakers...
5.5 years I have gone without owning a car due to living in cities where I didn't need one...last car was a 2000 Golf...which I turned into a VR6...always thought my next car would be an STI for its good bang for the buck but I've skipped over that phase...was going to get an '06 e46 M3 since they're pretty cheap now...but wife insisted on 4 doors which 'forced' the e90 into the equation...and I'm not complaining (though she would have been just as happy with a C300 Merc or any new shape 3 series lol) '08 Jet Black on Black fully loaded - Tech, Cold, Prem Pkg, Ext. Leather, Prem Sound, Carbon Int, 19s, 6MT...60mile drive home after picking up the car...what a beast... some quick snaps: old car: |

Looks great! You will love it! The steering wheel looks wayyy to shiny and the leather seats probably the same. You need to get some zaino leather cleaner and a super soft toothbrush. You can also use liquid dawn in water and a soft toothbrush and gently work the wheel and clean it. It will restore the nice soft matte finish of new. Same with the seats. Enjoy!

Your car looks great! Congratulations on her. I was a dreamer once, too. It's always nice to see when life works out well enough that we can live the good life.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm reading the instruction manual now, so much to learn! Someone should put together a multiple choice test on this....see who really knows their car! Hehe
