Wow, your car looks so mean. I never would have thought that the combination of mods you did would come out as well as that.

Love the Skip Barber sticker. That's good for a couple seconds a lap right there (not literally, but what it represents). Track experience trumps power mods.

You don't get what he's going after. There's a reason he got 18's.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I'm not usually a fan of black cars with black wheels but yours is very well executed and the pictures do a good job of capturing the wheels without loosing them in a sea of black. .

Please correct me if I'm wrong (foggy memory) but I recall when IND first posted these wheels a few months back, they made mention that these aren't recommended as wheels to be used on the street, are these one in the same?

They look fantastic, I'm a big fan!

What size rotor are you running up front?

There is detail info about the wheels here: http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=250023. They are primarily a track wheel, but there is no use caveat that I've seen in the linked information from IND. There is more discussion of these wheels on the 18" Wheels Photo Thread. There is some criticism of the wheels there.

LMB is enititled to his opinon and I understand why he says the Volks are preferrable given all the factors listed. I can't argue with the comments regarding the Volks as I've had two sets of them and both were excellent wheels. Nothing stated in that thread bothers me.... I just prefer the look and specs to anything volk offers in an 18" wheel. BTW, there is no way I could justify these wheels as a track only wheel. They cost way too much for that - approx. $5k just for the wheels. I didn't buy into the HRE hype per se and understand the tradeoffs I made in my decision to go with this setup.

Thx!
BC

PS - Let's not forget that both RumBum and Fall Line are running these wheels and if they were really inferior it would seem that they would dump them.
