Challenge E92 Trunk Installed!

My car is over at GT Motoring now getting some new upgrades for spring. One of the new items being installed is the Challenge E92 Carbon GT Race Trunk! I bought the version that is 100% full carbon inside and out, ALL layers, no fiberglass filler. It even has a little carbon Kevlar on the inside you can see.

I took a few pictures when I stopped by a few days ago. The trunk lid was being test fitted on the car before paint; fitment was spot on and every bit as good as OEM. I had a chance to lift up the lid before installation, and it is mind blowing how light this piece is. Did I mention the top notch quality? You can really see the craftmanship that went into the construction of this lid.

The lid should get painted in about a week or so, even if it will be a shame to cover up such a great piece. In any case, stay tuned for additional pics. I’ll post some up after paint and some other mods are completed.

From the angles you provided, I like it a lot! It's more subtle in the way that it doesn't go as vertical

I really like the Challenge trunk, plus it's so lightweight in you can carry it with a finger and it's still strong

I like the Kevlar bracing and you can see it under the trunk. I would try not to paint that...why Haven't I seen you around

I like how it follows the contours of the M3 more than the Vorsteiner.

Looks great but I wish it was more angled to provide more downforce like the ZCP spoiler.

Aesthetics I think this one looks better than Vorsteiner.

One of the best trunks I have seen in person. Very light weight! Now come here so we can paint that thing
