^ hahahaha, idiot, nobody cares about your signature or your 335 that will "beat any 550i" out there.

LMFAO

Be careful, looking at your signature and your assumed age, you might have a massive coronary in a few minutes...

Just saw a Youtube of kaykay's 550 roasting a Pagani Zonda.....it was neck and neck through the first 500 feet, then for some reason the Zonda dropped like a stone and the 550 ended up running a 10.0 quarter mile. It went on to reach 245 MPH the following week at the Texas Mile. Crazy shit man.

^ Wasn't that something? It was the Zonda R though, so get your story straight.

Maybe if you read my sig you wouldn't have written that... LOL

Nowhere did I say my 550 beats an M3, it doesn't and we all know this.

(it's a joke....) 550's are nice cars.
I was talking about stock cars, not modded.

When I received a 550i as a loaner car when my stock 335i was in service, it felt strong, but not as much so as the 335i. Most road tests seem to back this up. As much as I haaate using 0-60 as a comparison for any car that can potentially run it in under 5 seconds, most road tests were pegging the 550i in the low 5 seconds range, while the 335i was in the high 4s. This was backed up by the fact that I raced a friend's 335i with the 550i loaner, and as behind by about 1.5 car lengths at 80. 550i was automatic, 335i manual. This was from a dead stop.

Funny enough, and just throwing this out there; on other high end forums, such as ferrarichat and 6 speed, 550i owners are commonly made fun of because they think it is the car to end all cars.

so here is something very interesting....
I was chatting with a Canadian executive of Audi and he did say that there is a team of employees who's primary function is Social Networking (Youtube/Facebook/Car Forums/Twitter etc). I asked him if it includes any associates to join competitive car forums...he said this:
..."of course, it helps us understand the customers of our competition. Where else can we go that will give us such insight on how BMW or Mercedes Benz's customers feel about their purchases and we can use this vital information to assist us with our current and future marketing campaigns".....I asked if any direction was ever given to these associates to go onto forums and be hostel and combative with other members and or to "slam their cars"...he said this:
"No, this is not part of our company values, however we also do not tell them not to. We do not monitor the forums or what is said as each member is anonymous. On other sites such as Facebook and Twitter, we do have strict rules and all associates must comply, they are representatives of Audi".

That was insightful!!!!!

Youre right. I went back and looked at the pictures we took from that day. 535i, haha. It was a while ago, Im not sure why I was thinking it was a 550i. But the stats still speak for themselves.

We were at a bar with one of the local Sales VP and he was bragging about his BMW 550i..."this thing is so fast that I could smoke anything out there." My boss was joking around with him and said he'll put up $1000 bucks and said "I'll even race you in Josh's car." The next day, the VP shows up in his 550i... We pull up in the CS [360 Challenge Stradale]. Needless to say. We got a nice steak dinner that night and then some..

The funniest comment from my boss was "If you could sell, you wouldn't be driving a 550i!" "

BMW has a problem for their team of employees who's primary function is Social Networking, because on Audi forums there is barely discussion.
