Stock Michelin PS2 tires do well in 37 degree weather with rain.
As unpredictable as the MD/DC/VA area's weather is, I had my summer tires on thinking spring was here. Temps dipped into the 30's tonight, and it started to rain. I was pretty impressed with how the PS2's handled it. Never felt like the car was on edge. Can't wait to try the PSS's.

I made it to work and back with no issues (6 miles total). But my usual 15 minute commute turned into a 1 hour commute.

I changed to my winter tires in January this year (usually i do it in November). i've had no issues with summer tires in 30 degree weather. I did go skiing in PA in December, and my car got stuck in the parking lot at night due to the snow and ice. The winter tires would have help a bit...
I'm thinking about not changing next year and just not drive on the snowy/icy days. |
