I'm at jury duty now and they pay .34 a gallon ONE way to the court.
Based on these gas prices, I get $2.04 to drive 6 miles from my house. Since the M3 gets 12 MPG ish in city driving with a lot of traffic, I have to pay $3 extra just to cover getting here and back. They should raise it to .50 given these insane increases in gas prices over the last few weeks. Unacceptable! Sorry, I'm bored to tears here. This is such a waste of time it's unbelieveable.

In view of the gas crisis, the governor of California is drafting a plan to have a two tier gas price system.
Those with adjusted gross income over $200,000 will pay the higher price for gas. Those with lower adjusted gross income, including those with no adjusted gross income, will pay the lower price. Drivers will be required to present their tax returns at the pump to verify there tier. Proposition 22 is expected to be on the ballot shortly. |
