Springs swap - fair price for labor...

What’s up guys!!! Hope all is well. I got my RDSport springs yesterday and was wondering what is the fair price for R&R on them on our E9X? Exclude the alignment charges please

Thanks!

That's pretty impressive that you can do your own 4-wheel alignment.

But seriously, I can't believe how many guys don't get their cars aligned after suspension work. Smart (and fast) way to burn through a $1,000 set of tires.

Must do alignment!!! The reason I said "please exclude the alignment estimate" is because I have my good friends shop do that for me. He is too freaking busy though to put my car on the rack for 2-3 hours to do the actual spring installation

Sorry I didn't mean to jump to the conclusion that you specifically were ignoring alignment. But I do know of other guys who ignore alignment.

I hear to wait 2-3 weeks as springs "settle" so isn't an alignment worthless right after springs?

Yes..... you want to wait several weeks or about 1k miles for everything to settle in before you get an alignment. But don't forget the alignment!!!
