HELP 2010 BMW M3 Lease

Hey guys
i just bought a e92 m3 from this dealer in ct, the payments were based on 12k a year but on the lease that we both signed it says 15k a year for 45k for the 3 yr term. Now the dealer sent me a revised lease to sign and send back.
Do you know if i don't can they do anything?
can anyone provide any guidance??

Thanks
Again.

If both parties signed the 3 year 15k a year lease agreement, they can't do anything. It is already signed. Done deal. Unless there is another official agreement (signed by both parties) that says anything about 12k a year, they can't force you nor sue you for anything. Words don't count.

as long as you've signed nothing with the 12k on it you're good to go.

Of course you may at some point need some good will from your dealer so you need to decide if you want risk starting the whole relationship on a bad note. My dealer has been 100% and go above and beyond if I have any issues. Not sure they would if I had started off the way you are. Once you're happy to risk not needing anything out of the ordinary then I can see no problem.

Before you can drive off the lot, the dealer requires you to sign all required documents... You're good my friend because it is their fault!

Assuming that the paper is with BMW and the payments are based on 12k won't the dealer have to eat any miles over 12k and the higher residual value at the end of three years? From the lessors point of view he is only paying for a 12k lease so somebody is going to have to pony up for the difference.

Thank you guys, so the dealer won't be able to sue me or take the car back under a cancellation policy or anything right? I just want to make sure because the dealer is threatening me like saying you will regret this etc.

Thanks again guys for the advice.

the only other thing they have is emails going back and forth stating this was going to be based on 12k but nothing signed by both parties.
Just want to confirm they can't do anything.
Thanks

I'd speak with an attorney who knows contract law in CT. I havent seen anyone who posted with CT contract law as a basis, so I am thinking these are all guesses.

And if the dealer is making threats, that is another issue as well.

Sounds like the dealer screwed up, but who knows if they are stuck with that.

+1

If you are worried about legal consequences, talk to a lawyer.
