to matte or not to matte?
I went to me local clear bra installer to get samples and they did my gas cap to give me a feel. It looks legit but I'm on the fence. Maybe you guys can think of pros and cons I wouldn't normally have. opinions?

Exactly!! I can count on my left hand the cars I've actually seen on the street with a matte finish. People on the forums are by far the minority, its just the one place where we all come together. I'm getting ready to wrap mine in matte metallic, which is similar to BMW frozen colors.

I'm going charcoal because of my wheel finish/color combo. Heres the list of colors:

I was almost thinking the same before I decided to Plastidip my car for winter protection 3 days ago! I think I was getting brainwashed by people like you on forums cause in fact, I don't remember when was the last time I saw a nice car in matte finish! Anyway to OP, do as you like, I did my car 2 days ago and I LOVE how it look, also I receive so many positive comments about my color and not a single negative one, exept my mother who prefered my Sparkling graphite but she does'nt dislike my camo green!

Wow thank you guys for all the responses and pictures. That camo green really does look sweet. To be honest, yes, the only times I have really seen a matte paint job is at a meet or show. I so rarely see one on the streets, occasionally I might see a matte gray! But it always turns out to be an old car that just lost its clear coat lol.
I think since the car is new I'll rock the LMB and take your advice or wrapping it later on. God knows i'll need something new to entertain myself with in a few months so here's to posting again soon with installation photos in the future!
