Poor Lamborghini SV - Clear Bra Gone Wrong

To put it nicely, this beautiful Grigio Estoque LP670 Superveloce had a pretty bad clear bra done. From a timing aspect, the customer did not want to wait for us at Premier to perform the work, so of it goes to a company that claimed "custom" work. Now in our hands to get it all redone. Extremely visible imperfections and wait...once we removed the film, there were razor cuts all over.

That is awful and one of the main reasons why I am afraid to have a clear bra put on my M. I wish I lived in CA where it seems all the "good" shops are!!

Horrible! ...Exactly why I only trust Premier.

I bet the "expert" that did that job proudly boasts to prospectives: "...yeah I do exotics, I just did a Lambo..."

Wow...sad. All Lambo's are hand painted including hours upon hours of wet sanding and removing all imperfections. And then a bit of in patience made all that effort for nothing.

My x5 had razor cuts when I got it and had the clear bra installed, from the dealer installer. man was that horrible.
But the dealer took care of it beyond expectaions.

Is there any way to tell if a car has razor cuts from a clear bra install without removing the film?

Only to the trained eye would it be discernable.

That really sucks. At least the new clear bra probably disguises the permanent marks a bit.

Although I see your point about not "telling on" someone I stilll find the owneer should psot the information. There are a lot of shops out there cutting paint that should not be installing film. It would save a lot of heart ache if future customers knew what shops to go to and which ones to avoid. In a small market that will happen by word of mouth... but in larger markets it doesnt.
