Nice wheel pickup, I've been running my track setup this week b/c I was too lazy to change them back last week. I really like having a lightweight 18" wheel, but the TRMotorsports aren't exactly the best looking wheels.

Very nice. I would roll those 24/7, not just track days.

Just ordered the same tires for my RACs today. Really wanted to go with your setup but couldn't sell the RACs. =(

Quick question, should I put some miles on them prior to hitting the track? My first event is about 4 weeks from now. Since they're street tires they don't require heat cycles right? I read somewhere to get the tread depth down to avoid chunking. Is this true?

Thanks!

Just drive a few hundred miles on the street prior to the track. No special care needed. They are street tires after all.

Like rld said, just a few hundred miles should get you through the releasing agent on the tires.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Did you ever get these on a scale for a detailed weight?

I am trying to choose between these and the Volk TE37SL's
but the et15 offset of the SL's are bothering me -- it might be too much
