US DKG time frame?

My sales person entered earlier this week my order in the system including DKG for a late April delivery. He just heard back from BMW that the order can't be entered now until May (which I assume means July delivery) due to the DKG. Has anyone else in US you already has order in with DKG been told this by their dealership?

I was #1 in my area for a sedan = March delivery. I ordered DKG, now I'm expecting June/July. I am going to take advantage of the wait and look at the C63, perhaps jag XF. I'll Probably still stick with M3, but now I get to test drive the possibilities.

Hey, I'm in/on the same boat as you. Mine was ready to get produced and I changed from 6 speed to 7 speed and I'm back in the queue for June/July. I thought I'd have the first sedan in NC.

This is not surprising. BMW let it be known the first 3 months of DKG allocations would be LIMITED. June on it should free up. This is typical ramp-up mode. Late April would be quite good.

I have an order in for a DCT (DKG) for week 10, that's the week of Mar 3-7. As of yesterday, it was a status 111, which means the order was accepted by BMW AG. That doesn't mean my date won't be pushed back a later time, however I'm hoping to be one the lucky few to get a Mar-May limited production car. One thing that will help me is I didn't order the 19" wheels, which I hear is slowing production due to a shortage of those wheels.

I'll let you know if I hear differently. I'm #1 in line at my dealership, so I hope it holds true. For now, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear of your delay Bevo but w/ the prodn ramp-up and demand I'm not surprised to hear this.

Can you wait? Seems like another 2 mths to get F1-type tech would be worth it

Hey, 'rates are going to be lower then too!

Isn't week 9 25-29 Feb? Reason asking is that I have week 10 which according to my CA is 3-7 Mar

I ordered on 1/31, everything on track for week 11 production with mid April delivery.

If you haven't gone from status 111 to 112 with M-DCT and a March build date (9-12), you are going to be bumped at least until April. This was the case with me, as can be read in the big thread on the ordering/tracking forum.

I reconfirmed with my salesman today, I'm still on track for week 10 (not week 9 as I stated earlier) which is Mar 3-7.

Does anyone else on here have a week 10 DCT build date?

Let's get together in April and have a E92 M3 rally of 2 in Central Jersey somewhere. Are you in NYC?
