Coilovers for square setup

Apparently KW clubsport will not have enough clearance in the front with a square Arc8 et25 18x10 275/35/18 setup with ST60/40 bbk without having to use spacers or modifying anything (i.e. spring removal)... What other options are there to make this setup work?

KW v3? Ohlins? JRZ?

IIRC, it's the helper spring on the clubsport that creates the issue. Supposedly a 5mm or 8mm spacer corrects this. Or change the spring and ditch the helper.

I have AST 5200 with 7" 60 mm springs with 18X10 EC-7 285/645 square and the wheel or tire just barely touches at full lock. 5mm spacer corrected it. I can't recall my ride height setting so I'm not giving you the whole picture but maybe it helps give you a start. I'm running 92mm studs so not really concerned about a spacer on a track setup.

5mm spacer will clear the Clubsports with that setup. Ask me how I know.

JRZ RS Pro will work. No spacers required.

Do you have any objections to running a spacer? 5mm won't hurt the car at all and I don't think you should base your suspension choices off whether or not a 5mm spacer is needed. There is a rather big jump in quality between the KW and JRZ.

Well I don't want to remove any springs or modify the coilovers. I have a stud conversion and run a rear spacer for aesthetics. Many have issues with vibration etc with spacers in the front... So ideally I would want to steer clear of using a front one if possible.

it will work fine if you set the car high enough, which is undesirable.

i can't comment on the clubsports but i have ohlins R&T and my front 18x10 ET25 Apex EC-7 with 285/30/18 does rub. i tried 5mm spacers and hated the vibration, the amount of lip left after the spacer was installed could not even hold the rim on the hub on its own without falling off.

So i will either use 12mm spacers with hubcentric lips.

I also have TE37SL staggered with 265/295 which seems to be fine.

the rubbing wasnt huge, but it was there which bothers me
