Premature hairline cracks on rotors?
I'm assuming this is normal wear and tear, but just wanted to get a few more opinions on this. I have the Brembo 380 kit and driven maybe 5-7 thousand miles with these and around 3-4 track days. I was cleaning my wheels the other day and noticed small hairline cracks on the face of the rotors (I can't actually feel them when running my fingernails through them). They seem to be only on my front right rotor.
Just seems a bit premature for a 380gt kit + brake cooling. Thoughts?

I would say that it's pretty normal but I would keep my eye on it. Good thing that you didn't get drilled rotors. Are you running the OEM supplied Ferodo pads or something else?

I would also send pics of both rotors to Brembo USA to see what they have to say about it. In my the mind the degradation should be the same on both sides.

For some reason, the right front always get hotter after a track session.
Brembo is on Costa Mesa if you're ever around there. .

They relocated. Race Technologies in Costa Mesa is not the primary supplier anymore. They are in Plymouth MI and Mooresville NC now.

Looks pretty normal to me. I've got the Alcon super kit and my rotors looked like that as well by the end of the season and were still working fine, just make sure the cracks don't extend to the edges (yes, glad they're not drilled). This is, however, after around 10k mileage and about 22 track days last year. Double check with for piece of mind, but wouldn't sweat it

Do you run with your MDM on?If so if your running the same direction most of the time it will brake the inside more to control the oversteer.Otherwise it is normal as others have said and if you are using any of the nannies turn them off to make your brakes life easier.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll just keep an eye on them for now.
