FS: RPI GT Catback Exhaust

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I recently went with a full GTM exhaust from RPI so I have the GT catback for sale. It sounds incredible and RPI advertises +-8HP gain with it. It is very lightly used, about 2500miles on it. No dents or dings etc - looks great.

I dont have pics yet but it looks the same as any other RPI GT catback you see photos of. I can get some photos for people who are genuinely interested.

In the spirit of full disclosure I will say this - if you are looking for a catback system only, this is an absolutely AWESOME choice. It sounds incredible with little to no drone. If you want a full system I would not get this catback, it has a rasp to it with free flow headers that I was not a fan of. Some people like it but I didnt.

Retail was $1750, I would like to get $900.

-Shane

Is that how it works? hahahaha

I went the same exact route you did. I had the RPi axle back exhaust and got the GTM installed today. Sounds insane huh?

GLWS man, to everyone: If you want a good bump in exhaust note with a nice deep growl...here you go. The RPi axleback sounds so clean! Price can't be beaten either!

In this case no. If you got the front pipes and the x-pipe you would. But with just the axleback, you won't have any ringing sound at all. Smooth deep sound

Yeah - that is why I specifically stated that if your intention is to simply get an axle back then go for this one - it sounds incredible!! If you intend on going with the full system I would not get this catback since is there is a rasp. For the price it really is a great exhaust and the workmanship is actually pretty damn good compared to most other I have looked at too.
