We constantly hear about how a chipped 335 is equal to the M3 in a straight line, nonsense. No one ever talks about what happens when you start modding the M3. The gain for the M3 with a chip is far less than the 335 gets, but it is enough for the M3 to destroy it.

See for yourself:
Im quoting the lines of the first run

"Whats that, like 4 cars, 5 cars??"
"I cant even see"

LMAO!!!! R U kidding me?? This was great. Thanks Sticky

Yep, I hooked my laptop into my car using a coat hanger and a rubber band. I typed in "more power" and here I am.

Would you like me to tune your car? Do you have a coat hanger?

I am not trying to start another argument. I am truly interested in these dyno sheets. I want to see how well Powerchip did at tuning the car and how smooth the air fuel ratio is. If you don't have them, just say so. This is your exact quote from the other thread:

"There will be graphs and more details shortly but just wanted to give my initial impressions."

Before posting all the numbers Evosport wants to dyno the car with my HRE C90's put on.

I sold my stock wheels in the midst of the tuning and they don't want to show numbers that don't represent what the actual gain is or are inflated.

Get it?

This debate should have been resolved on a track instead of public roads. I agree with the spirit of the contest, but the execution was juvenile and dangerous.

Congrats on your 'kill' The victory might have been even sweeter if it were done on the track.

No need for the "asshole" comment at the end, I was simply just asking.

Makes sense, considering most times when I run into a 335 will be on a road course.

It also makes sense to suggest going to a track, in the middle of the night. Setting up something like that takes time and money.

The majority of people use their cars on the street and are just interested in quick bursts that people typically use when driving.

Makes about as much sense as running a speed trial on a public road in the middle of the night.

Again, I'm happy you put the 335 whiners in their place, but it could have been done under much safer conditions. Do yourself a favour and stop making yourself look worse.

A simple drag strip run would've shut everyone up too.

How do you run from a roll on a drag strip?

How do you get to a drag strip in the middle of the night? How do you set that up and get the person out there and run when you want to run? Lets be realistic.

Were you there? Do you know the road? Did you see any traffic? Don't speak about things of which you know nothing. What makes you think a road course is soooo much safer? Pushing a car in turns with others on the road whom I have no control over is not exactly a safe activity, either.

You don't like it, too bad, wasn't the first time I ran a car on that road and it won't be the last. Save the safety BS for someone else, or start a crusade against the thousands of other videos on youtube.

Once, in the 50's, while on my way to church.

Since that time, I drive 10 mph under the speed limit in the right lane with a blinker on at all times, just to be safe.

Yes. I will also have a dyno on a dyno dynamics.

If neither of these meets your approval, I will begin searching for a different dyno immediately.

Lets see that race again with a 335i wit a race map/race fuel. Then you can pull facts out of your ass.

Lmfao at the RDsport chip who runs that on their car?

Slap a JB3 or V3 wit race fuel and then you can see the M3 way way way back.

To the OP, do your math and lets see the money spent on both cars as far as performance mods. 990 for a chip on an M3? You can get a used JB3/V3 for 500-900$ You can spend 5k$ on an m3 and 335i, and I'll be the first to tell you the M3 wouldnt stand a chance on a straight line. The track is a different story.

Oh, so I bought an M3 looking for bang for the buck performance and upgrades? Thanks for setting me straight, what was I thinking spending my money how I see fit.

Slap a supercharger on the M3 and what happens to any 335? How about nitrous? How about a rocket and wings?

The E9X M3 aftermarket hasn't even gotten going yet. You ever see what E46 M3's did with boost? 335's are WEAK in comparison.

So a 335 needs a race fuel map to not embarass itself vs. an M3 on pump? Hahaha!

I did not pick out the 335 owners chip, take it up with him.

If I spend 5k on an M3 I will be obliterating a 335 with 5k in it. You go on to laugh at 990 dollars for Powerchip software yet quote used ecu's/software from 500-900 as your reasoning? Do you read what you write? Sure makes sense, I can pick up a used z06 and beat the living crap out of both of them, around a track and in a straight line.
