Has Anyone Tried/ Compared all theses Oil

Let me know any feedback please right now I'm using the Liqui Moly

What do you want to know, exactly? 10w60 is specified for the car, so either of those two would work. I doubt you will be able to tell the difference and your motor would happily run on either one. Get whichever is cheaper. If you are paranoid about warranty coverage or whatever, use the BMW oil.

5w40 is not officially approved for the S65 motor (except for top-offs), but plenty of people still use that viscosity.

Some people have claimed the LM runs a bit louder than the bmw oil.

I think you're right I did a few Revs and it did sound a bit more Growling than usual

I just wanted to know if anyone had the chance of using any of them for a period of time and how the car is running after using them for some time now and which one is cleaner or better and make the car run smoother

Because you see in the back of the Liqui Moly how they put those bar of performance and cleanest etc..

I ran LM for 2 OCIs and loved it. It performed well in HOT Texas summers and mild winters. Surprised my Indy veered away from using it. Now on some Motul oil.

Per my first post, there's not much difference in operation between those oils.

If you truly want to split hairs, the BMW oil is officially approved for the engine and meets the new API SN requirements, meaning it's a more modern formulation. The Liqui-Moly stuff is only API SL which makes it two generations old. If you are curious what the differences between SL, SM, and SN are, you can read here:

The short answer is that SN provides better resistance to piston deposits, better sludge control (probably not an issue for your car), and improved seal compatibility. The spec was finalized in 2010, whereas SL is from 2004...several years before the S65 was even in production. If you can get the BMW oil for the same price as the Liqui-Moly, that's probably the "best" bet.

Thanks I didn't know so it's best to use M oil better chemical mixture

I think it's the better choice versus the Liqui-Moly 10w60, yes.

Motul is better then LM.

Has anyone used 10w50 oil? I’ve been told somewhere that it’s better for this engine because of the poorly designed factory bearing clearances.

Another very good oil, especially for the price is shell ROTELLA. Someone on this forum has been using it for over 150k Miles and is still on the original rod bearings.
