I like how the Angel Eyes and parking lights fade on when you unlock (or disarm alarm) the car.

The Comfort Access and Bluetooth are very cool too.

I also like the ambiance lighting along the side of the inside of your car door.

On my european version, it is possible to close roof and windows with the remote control. I have CA
I did not try with the key btw

I think that's called BMW Ambient Lighting. In previous versions of the M3 (e46, etc.) it was a dual beam of orange light that originated beneath the rear-view mirror. I like the idea of it running along the upper part of the doors now. Sounds cool.

Does anyone know if this feature (the ambient lighting along the interior doors) is also available in the non-M 3-series cars (328i, 335i, etc.)? Would be nice if it was exclusive to the M3.

Can you describe the exact difference between these? I don't notice much at all.

Imagine dropping a can of soup on your foot.

Do it softly, then do it with medium strength and then throw it strongly....Tell me if you can feel a difference.

You can with the convertible (with comfort access).

Sorry.

Humor, sarcasm, just being a jerk? I can not tell. I asked a serious question to another person if you have nothing useful to contribute don't.

No worries... plenty of other differentiating features.

My understanding is that the coupe has ambient lighting, the sedan does not. Correct?

False. Pretty much any BMW has the ambient lighting.

Actually, none of the above, but thanks for your valued post. I was simply trying to articulate the different settings on the ventilation through an analogy. My apologies if that doesn't fit inside of your box as a definition of a "contribution."
