Fixing rock chips

Drove the car on Tail of the Dragon recently and increased rock chip number from 2 to around 12. Several are prominent, most are small. It was supposed to have a clear bra but that's a long story we won't go into.

It is getting an Xpel clear bra in the near future.

I filled a couple chips with the space gray touch up paint (not the clear part though). I used a tooth pick and some are just a little gray but still depressed. I figure the clear bra will mask those.

Unfortunately, a couple are now slightly raised because I suck at this. Detailer told me that with repeated washes it will level. Problem is they'll be under the clear bra and the bump is noticeable (occurred with little dirt specks under the bumper clear bra, which is now gone).

Wet sand and then polish? I don't have a polisher, everything would be by hand. The shop that does the clear bra is very well respected and they also do custom fab stuff so they could probably fix it but who knows what that would cost.

Suggestions?

I've used Dr Colorchip, its not perfect, but its easy and makes the chips a lot less noticeable.

If you want to put more effort, Larry from AMMONYC just posted a paint chip fixing technique that looks a bit better:

My clear bra installer said you can try a crayon, if the chips are not too large or deep, and the bra application may assist with "blending". That being said, the Dr Colorship solution may be of similar benefit.
