Nice power Drew!
You don't often see a fuel pressure gauge in the cabin, especially when you only have three gauges.

So, it's safe to just mix in the e85? Is the majority gain from the ~94 octane.
I guess it's possible because S65 uses full-time wideband.

Thanks AK, appreciate that. Do you have any plans to go stage 3?

Thanks man, I had water temp, but it's not needed. I think when you do a Stage 3, fuel pressure is certainly one of the most important things to monitor, so I dumped the water temp and added the FPG. I don't think it's completely safe to just throw E85 into the tank, you really have to monitor it to make sure all is good, as I stated earlier I'd be hesitant to do it on a stock motor with a supercharger, unless you know what you're doing, it does lean out fuel mixture, I'd dyno or log the car before I ran it on the street. But on a NA motor probably safer, many of the 335I guys are doing it with good results.

Yes, I've noticed the n54/55 guys are adding some corn juice. However, I thought that they were using different tunes.

I notice your AFRs seem spot on. What does ESS say. I'd really love to see 700whp. I'm feeling like you may need a small nitrous shot.

There is a little more power this car could make with another psi or two but we feel we are at the limits of the transmission so there are no plans to push any further. The blower is also getting close to it's max power limit. When we started the VT3 project we were really only looking to make about 625-650 whp so the power these cars are making are already beyond our original plans. Overcoming the fuel delivery issues and figuring out what the transmission can handle where our two biggest challenges.

We did the VT3 project to really showcase how good the components and design in all of our standard kits really are. We knew we could make an easy 800 CHP with the VT2 hardware. The blower, intake, manifold, cooling system and bypass in this kit are the exact same that come in all standard VT2 kits.

You can see in the 2nd run the AFR's go pretty rich do to the Meth, probably set a little too high, but it still made really good power. Personally I would not add E85 to a VT2 kit, unless you are monitoring it and know what you're doing, it leans out the mixture quite a bit, and the stock fuel pump is at it's limits with a VT625 setup, especially in cool weather.
E85 will run a bit leaner if you add a couple gallons to pump but in most cases this will not add much risk because the octane rating is going up. running a full tank is a different story.

Agreed, but it depends on the setup, the higher psi kits on the stock S65 are at the OEM fuel pumps capacity, so I would be hesitant to use a 20% E85 mix on those setups. Agree, full tank not a chance, lol. But in the future I wouldn't mind going full E85.

Lol, actually it's not indicative of what she can do, that was in the middle of summer, traction issues, and I had less power then! I'll make another run at it eventually.
