none of this matters thouogh because if BMW build the car they will do it to make money and after all that is why they are in business.

+1. I thought I was the only one who thought of this similarity. It looks totally like the IS350 coupe would look like in smaller size.

They had no problem totally sabotaging the 330 by bringing the 335 out a year later, I think they'll have no problem doing it now.

I will only owe about 7 grand on my 330 by the time it comes out. Pay it off, trade it up. I think I just found my next car.

It's like making a 4 series that is between a 3 and 5 series sedan size, but with the same engine offerings. Just seems silly to not offer it as a hatchback if they are really gunnin for the GTI crowd.
i agree .....i want a turbo car tho

The weight is pretty good considering the portly 335i. And the new Bimmer placing the new M3s weight at 3600 unladen. I'll get one if they leave the engine at 300 hp. Something tells me we will see a 'restricted' horsepower of 260-275.

The proportions are just odd, it looks squished like a micro machine and the front fascia is too squired off. Then you factor in the cost...

You know the E30 is 2.5 feet longer than a mini right?

Mini is 26 inches shorter than 1-series
1-series is 4 inches shorter than the e30
e30 is 4 inches shorter than e36
e36 is 2 inches shorter than e46
e46 is 2 inches shorter than e90

So 1 series is 1 foot shorter than the e90.

that might be true, but as long as it still has those two snails inside that hood compartment, it can be unleashed.:rocks:

I'm definitely buying one, chipping it, putting in a limited slip and having some fun with that thing. It's not exactly a gorgeous looking car, but damn, that thing is going to drive down the road like sh1t from a goose.

I read the article over the weekend and got goosebumps wondering if their claims would be the true release car stats.

I already have one of those. People will expect it to be a rocket, even as a 128i coupe. Although the 135i may be faster than the 332ti I just picked up. Hmmm, choices, choices.
